Read Between the Aligns

Most of us remember to clean, maintain, and repair our cars. However, we often ignore the wheels; although it’s the wheels that are most important to a smooth and safe drive. Caring for your wheels not only enhances your car’s performance, but also increases the life of your tires significantly. Moreover, repaired and maintained wheels make your car look as good as new: ALWAYS!

One of the essentials of alloy wheel repair is wheel alignment. Thanks to the many obstructions on the roads, wheels often get misaligned, thus, adversely affecting driving comfort.

So, how would you know that your wheels need alignment?

Here’s how…

•    If one of your front or back tires shows a different pattern of wear off, then it’s a sure sign of misaligned wheels.
•    When wheels are misaligned, you will observe the car pulling off to one side, regardless of where the steering is.
•    Pull your hand away from the steering and see the direction in which the car is headed. If it does not move straight ahead, then the wheels require alignment.
•    Badly aligned wheels will cause the tires to vibrate while driving.
•    Yet another sign of badly aligned wheels is a crooked steering wheel. Irrespective of the direction in which the car is moving, the steering remains crooked.

This is sure sign of bad wheel alignment.

If you observe any of these, then get your wheels aligned with a wheel specialist at Kwick Silver. They are providing full, on-site wheel repair service so you can then enjoy the same comfortable drive again.
